I am labeled with words,
Shy, reserved, quiet,
And I am judged,
For not going out more,
Not having a plethora of friends.
I don’t think...
I love it.
The endless conversation
The pointless laughter
The sun shining
On my beet red cheeks,
I love it.
The tears of joy
The moments...
I was just old enough to
Tie my shoe,
When my dad could hardly wait,
To teach me how to ice skate.
He wrapped my sister and I,
In coats...
I know your dirty secret
Is locked in a box
Or a closet perhaps,
I hope no one knocks.
It's buried so deep,
But still it reeks.
So awful...
The raging river moves on
With its endless song
But the words get lost
In the rapid beats.
The beats get faster
But your life gets...
