Poems from Onyxbliss
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York on a winter morning in January the 15th. Once a baby known for her colic of hell has grown into an inspiring young African American woman. She is a poetic metal head who is currently aiming high as an Early Childhood major. Her success so far is nowhere near over just yet. Her words flow with ease like a Summer's breeze. Don't be afraid to enter the mind of Onyx Bliss, also known as Talaya. You may be amazed or afraid or even worse offended but keep in mind nobody has time for any ignorance you may spread. She is not here to impress but to express to relieve some stress off her mind. Most of her words may not rhyme but guaranteed she will remain strong as her dream of becoming a poet will soon hope to come true.
Once broken
Slowly recovering
Everything is coming together
Times may be hard
You must keep it together.
Feeling strangely unique
I don't...
Locked up in a life of lies
Putting on a front just to get by
Unhappy is what my soul is
Regretting the decision I made
Nowhere to run...
Most people would consider me by the term "ABNORMAL"
hmmm...interesting indeed I should say.
Fake hair
Plastic surgery
Ridiculous Tans...
Forgiving can be said with no hesitation
Forgetting is never granted.
The human body is built to endure physical pain and suffering.
As for...
Walking down the street of "Empty dreams"
Realizing there is nothing left of me.
Every step I take
I slowly fade into the heavy winds,...
