You're Not Here

Let me hold you close,

Keep you safe,

Where nobody knows.

Whisper my thoughts into your ear,

Pull you in tight,

Tell you my worst fear.

You can depsise and shun me,

Punch me and make me insecure,

But my love for you, you will see.

And as we grow older,

My arms will grow weak.

I try my hardest to hold on,

Even after our peak.

If you let go,

I'll stay forever blue.

If you said "I hate you",

I'll always say "I love you too".

You're my brightest sunrise,

My deepest urge.

You're long ways away,

But you'll soon emerge.
