Why should it be?

Ecclesiastes 9:11

11 I returned and saw under the sun that—

The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor bread to the wise,
Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favor to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all.

Why should it be?

Why should it be ... why all the suffering?

Why little recognition in the days ahead?

Is it routine ... maybe understanding?

A sense of premonition of good and bad

Is blindness a simple form of self-preservation?

Is it to protect some innocence within the deeper self?

Is it possible life  ... quietly itself guarding

its own preciousness that only experience tells?
