When I Was Five

Sat, 10/20/2018 - 18:23 -- MinaW

When I was five
Life was just beginning
No worries or doubts
Just kept on living

Life began to run short
As a wolf came by
I didn't know how long I had left
Only that I might have to say goodbye

But, light came my way
Guiding my path
I was able to live the day
And see the next one pass

Now I live happily
Thanks to that one light
And that wolf inside of me
Never gave me fright

As I keep on living
The light becomes brighter
And that burden within me
Becomes lighter
