When I Lost My Mom

When I lost my Mom,

Everything went wrong,

Time froze,

It was like I started to doze.

Then I woke up,

I was no longer stuck,

Stuck in that state of mind,

Eating everything I could find.

When I lost my Mom,

The days turned long,

I stayed sad or mad,

I was never glad,

When I lost my Mom,

I couldn't be strong,

I slept,

And I wept.

I finally had an realization,

I am God's creation,

I was no longer sad or mad,

I was GLAD!

I was glad because my Mom was with Him,

And she didn't have pain in every limb
