We Are The Same

We Are The Same

We were made the same

The big, round world is everyone’s fair game.

We all have thoughts, desires, and wishes.

but in this large ocean, we are all fishes.

Here we all are in this giant ocean.

It’s big, blue, green, and always in motion.

Then a rival appears, not happy nor sad.

All of the negatives, but mostly mad.

Why? Why are you mad you would ask.

But the answer is not an easy task.

Whether angry, sad, or being a bully

All of us are the same in fully.

We were made the same

The big, round world is everyone’s fair game.

So, what makes you better than me? Smarts? Looks? Frame?

Nothing. Simply nothing. There is no flaw to be the blame.

There is no need to intimidate. No need to be sour

because someone loses their life to a bully every hour.

It’s rude. Nasty. Not needed

because that girl that is called ugly has pleaded.

Make it stop. it hurts. It burns. It bleeds.

But somehow it only breeds.

We were made the same.

The big, round world is everyone’s fair game.

Stick and stones may break my bones, but names can always hurt me

because no matter how much I plee

The opressor returns, ready for another round

Before finding another victim to bound.

Do we wait?

Sit there like bait?

No. We were made the same.

There should be no shame.

Make it stop. Make it end.

Before we lose another friend.
