Twilight zone

Ephesians 4:26

26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down

on the cause of your anger.

Twilight zone

Four AM and thoughts are roaming

Sleep’s still here in the mind somewhere

Lost in a clump of dullness just moaning

Strange in the night to find self here

Plans for the day are roaming

In the area where peace resides

It can’t be the sub-conscience

It has a special place it hides

When sleep rules the “all” of me

Where I invest part of my life

In a state of the unknown to be

As religiousness quietly seems to die

Is there inspiration in bowels of night

Where the way of dreams are an illusion?

Half awake, half asleep is reason right

Or is it far beyond the way of inspiration?

Yesterday I finished half way towards what’s right

Did I achieve anything in my way of knowing?

I stretched from here to nowhere beyond my sight

As another day passed without significant showing
