Transformation

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together

for good to those who love God, to those who are

the called according to His purpose.

Are we ever satisfied ... what ever the possessions?

“Contentment and Godliness” ... is great gain

Godliness the only way to fulfill great passion

All the rest will only bring ... a lot more pain

Greed is never filled ... neither envy ever complete.

To possess more is an appetite left from the Fall

It is written by the flesh ... and oft driven by fear

That after a given moment ... you can’t master at all

In a room full of mirrors ... will I see myself?

Is it not only the surface ... that I taste?

Waiting for the rain ... seated near a well

Dying of thirst ... with much time to waste

Digging down deep ... to lay a strong foundation

To build a great tower ... to store my emptiness

Kept many folk occupied ... in silent celebration

As the jobs provided food for their family’s happiness

All things have a reason ... and “work together for good

to those who love God and are called according to His purposes”

It is a well prepared temporal ... mostly misunderstood

As only few truly believe ... so to escape metamorphoses
