Tie my lips together with your piercing eyes

I will stitch my voice into fibers and throw it to the wind.

maybe a carrier pigeon will reach you (and bring you home again)

endless conversation and dropped calls,

cold nights and dark empty halls.

I will whisper to the clouds and maybe the stars will rearrange

to spell out your name

and you will know;

I will love you even through the silence
