Thank You

Happiness is 6 o' clock on a Monday morning,

hearing you both fight over the T.V. remote.

Sadness is waking up at noon on a Saturday

and hearing complete silence.

Happiness is that long car ride where

we listen to Radio Disney and I constanly remind you that

No, we aren't there yet.

Sadness is that long car ride

listening to your favorite radio station the whole way through.

Happiness is watching My Little Pony all day long,

and hearing you explain to me what just happened

at every second of each episode.

Sadness is being able to change the channel

whenever you please.

But I wouldn't trade my happiness for anything in the world

because at night when I go to sleep,

I know you'll both be there to wake me up.
