Tears From A Broken Heart

As I walk this path called life I have had many hills, mountains, and valleys.

Thru this walk of life I have learned many things.

I have learned pain from every angle of my walk.

I have fell over obstacles meant to break me.

Thru the blood, sweat, and tears I rose from my hurt and pain.

Only to open myself up for more pain, hurt, and fear.

As a child I was taught fear is not of God.

Thru all the pain and anguish He will see you thru.

As a child I was taught long suffering was a fruit of the spirit. Get thru it to get to it..

I ache from my falls. Tears stream my cheeks daily.

Still I struggle thru my walk called life.

Looking for answers nobody has. Searching for love from the wrong directions.

I need something...

Anything to ease the hurt from every bump and bruise that have left me crippled by the road blocks put by my enemies, or friends. Who knows now days.

Sifting thru those who use me and care for me gets harder to see as I navigate thru the twists and turns called life.

I was told as a child "when you've done all you can do to stand, then stand."

I stop...I stand for the darkness is to great.

I stand because the tears that run down my cheeks only paint a glisson in the night.

I fell the evil and hate around me.

Hovering over me from my stance on my road of life.

I yearn to feel, see, and hear the love that once flowed thru my spirit.

I ache for the peace I once felt that seems so long ago.

As I stand and wait I remember as a child I was told prayer changes things.

So I begin to call out from my darkness to the one that created the world.

As I cry out I feel the broken pieces of my heart begin to mend.

I hear the evil subside from my ears.

As I reach out to the one we call the peace maker I feel my body heal from every bump and bruise caused from my journey.

At this moment I will continue to stand and pray until this valley comes to an end.

For God is my light to my path.
