Tears.

Let my eyes be the dam

from which my tears flow free

through cracks evoked by your delirious ignorance,

ignorance that screamed,

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind.."

I recompense,

Shall my blood be upon me?

Nothing screams louder than this.

Hell.

Shutting it out is nearly impossible.

Words sting.

Ready. Aim.

I'll burn in the fire.

For love.

Loving him.

And my tears will drown me

Like oceans of torment.

Red eyes.

Wet eyes.

Cold, dead eyes.

Where are those blue eyes?

Sometimes I'm glad I said those lies.

Saving him was worth the tears.

And in turn, they said

I had saved myself.
