Sublimity Not Destruction

Sublimity not Destruction

One thing is for sure

When all love has elapsed

The hatred arises

Repugnant emotions settle in the place of pleasing glee

Only for the sake that this is more desirable than no emotion

Or so we think

When the joy had vanished

Misery emerges

It’s preferred to endure grief rather than nonentity

Or so we think

We need a correction, a permutation

A transformation from satisfying to superior

From superior to phenomenal

To turn rough into worthy

When misery or hatred appears

Use that to fuel us to sublimity and not destruction

If society gives out elation and enshrouds the wrong

We will be the epitome to the greater good

Or so we can achieve
