Love.

A four letter word in which brings feelings on so strong.

Something in which we hope to find in this life time.

Something which is all too seen as two faced.

“It’s better to have loved then lost than never to have loved at all.”

A famous quote which means so much yet speaks so little.

Some find it a blessing to have loved and felt this warm, acceptance.

But me, no, not I.

I would rather have not loved at all.

Love.

A cold touch of loneliness is something to look forward to getting away from.

A false hope that we will all find the warmth of love.

I would rather look for the light, than wave goodbye to it as it fades to the past.

I would rather not loved at all than to have loved and remember the pain.

Pain is something that falls hand in hand with love yet, at the same time, it doesn’t.

“Tell me something beautiful” I say.

‘Love’ is his only reply.

A word so blissful yet so threatening.

Love.

A word so powerful.

Meaning something to everyone

But bringing on emotions and feelings like pain.

Pain so strong you feel the physical effects,

Yet happiness which compares to nothing in the world.

Love is something that can make a person’s whole being

Or break your very essence.

It can unravel who you are or it can repair you to who you once were.

Love.

It has two faces.

The joy a new mother feels once she is expecting

Pales in comparison to the love she feels once she feels the first kick

Or the movement of her child.

Love exists in many ways from unconditional love from pets

To the love we feel for our children.

Love.

Something that will let a person flourish.

Or break you down to the deepest darkest depths imaginable

Love can and will be a scary emotion

But do not let that stop you from becoming the very best that we can be.

Let love show us a light we never thought imaginable.

Let love show us the joy we never thought possible.
