Stands for ...

Job 20:2

“This is why my troubled thoughts bring me back—
because of my feelings within me.

Stands for ...

I tempted you to see you reaction.

I did what appeared of the flesh.

Maybe the difference is a fraction

not clear to the mind at best.

You feared and felt threatened.

You brooded how to bring me down.

Is that of the Spirit’s reflection

or is it the reaction of a frown?

It really does not matter.

What happened will stand for good

in the thoughts of the Lord forever,

as well as we know it should.

I’ll be judged for the tempting

and you’ll be judged for what you’ve done.

I guess we’re both up a creek without paddle.

But The Lord's precious Blood stops for none.

I wonder about the group, that sided,

and definitely made a choice their way.

Will their feelings of guilt even widen

the rift between us day to day?

Will time tell the way they are moving?

Probably not for in the dark I can’t see.

I’m tired of just going by feelings.

So forget about them ... let them be.
