His pale skin burning in the sun
Is all that people see
But then at night when darkness comes
He changes completely.

He creeps in shadows of the trees
And doesn’t make a sound
He gracefully springs with gentle ease
And takes a pure deer down

His long, white, hidden teeth protrude
Piercing the small deer’s neck
Blood fill His throat, His strength renewed
He drinks ‘til nothing’s left.

He leaves the forest without a trace
Walking with tears full of disgrace.
