Sea Squall at Sunset

Palms pressed flat onto the

Stomach of the sea

Humming under your hands,Brimming between your fingers.Clouds roiling in her cheeks,Red and blues and violetsParachutes like petals Catching on her collarbones.A searing flash,Open-mouthed clash of sky and horizon, Swirling like cotton candy.Take her apart in your hands,Put her back together,Waves spilling over your fingers,Pulling you under,Lulling you back to rest.
