Robinson

I’ve had a titch of a crush on you since Freshman Year

Perfectly harmless and perfectly dumb

I think as a Freshmen I just needed someone to latch onto

Someone to like, since that’s what Freshmen do

And you were the first to appeal to me

We’re far too different, and a total conflict of interests

But I must admit

When you go out of your way to see shows I’m in

My bloody heart melts

But if you proposed to me, here and now,

I’d reject

Since I have a life to live

And it’d be cruel to both of us

To allow you to steal that away
