Galatians 5:16-17      New English Translation

16 But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh has desires that are opposed to the Spirit, and the Spirit has desires that are opposed to the flesh, for these are in opposition to each other, so that you cannot do what you want.

A proper place

 

Whatever is obtained by The Spirit must be preserved and employed by the mind

If it stretches into the future, and the patience for that is practically hard to find

 

My mind is fixed on immediate reason, and its exercise is built on flexibility

Reason and impulse dance together searching and grasping to escape senility

 

Time is called essential, and to waste it is a great loss

So all-embracing issues need a quick-fix or to be tossed

I guess this is called darkness when temporal rules the day

And the Eternal is forgotten and there is nothing left to say

 

The Spirit of God is different, He dispenses Light for life

Directly to my spirit who funnels it straight to my mind

He resurrects life into my spirit for God’s interest is there

My mind can’t comprehend this, it computes a different sphere

 

The new life is born here as God’s Spirit work s in Love

And a fellowship develops with help from the Father above

He forms His sanctuary here where the new life now dwells

Constantly through fellowship with Him as now you know well

 

Revelation here received will work out our basic training

Here is where we grow towards maturity as Christ is reigning

This is the place where Satan constantly attacks out seniority

And where God’s power presents through His full Authority

 

Needed power for service and the armor is supplied right here

A foundation for wisdom is molded and preserved brought near

Intelligence has its proper place to serve, but to be used as a tool

As the kingdom grows for the Glory to God, He is now here to rule
