Please Come Back to Me

Faces.

So many faces.

Are you tired?

Of changing yourself,

Catering to people,

Pleasing everyone but you?

Hats.

So many hats.

Do you care?

That all you have,

Is stuff you hate,

And nothing is quite the same?

Hands.

So many hands.

Can you survive?

Stretching this far,

Leaving pieces of yourself,

Never fully satisfied?

Faces. Hats. Hands.

So many pieces of you,

Left behind or thrown away.

Let me know,

When you're done changing,

When you come back to yourself.

Please come back to me.
