Past, present, and until then

Finding myself

In the past,  a cast was on my voice

In the past, I was harassed

In the past, I was glassed as an outcast.

In the past, I had crashed

In the past, I was betrayed

In the present, I was reinvented

In the present, I have no bio parents

In the present, I sent myself to nursing school

In the present, I'm not an accident

In the present, I have pleasant families

Until then, I’ll begin a new day

Until then, I’ll still rebuild

Until then, I’ll continue doing my skills

Until then, I’ll continue going uphill

Until then, amen.
