O Mentor, My Mentor!

You've led me where the path is right,

You've taken me where light's in sight,

You've led me where there's joy and cheer,

O mentor, to me, you are so dear!

Without you, I would not survive,

You've shown me the true gift of life.

I've failed, and failed, and failed again,

But with you, I know failure is not the end!

I write this now, in honor of you,

To show that I treasure all you do.

Nothing can stop the love you have for me,

So, in this, I write with abundant glee:

Thank you for caring ever so much,

I hope, through this, your heart I touch,

I will forever love and honor you,

In every day, 'til we say adieu,

Thank you, mentor, for ev'rything you do!
