nowhere to H I D E

Location

In the real world there's nowhere to hide,

no touchups or retakes or black and white.

In the real world I try and I try,

to be someone different,

someone hard to come by.

I am something real,

not a photoshopped dream,

because in the end,

everyone's true colors will be seen.

I have physical flaws that could "ruin" a picture,

but what is in my heart makes it 100 times clearer.

I have a love for life that surmounts my hate,

for unclear skin, frizzy hair, or an imperfect shape.

With this love I have big plans,

to improve what I know, and hopefully show,

that in the real world there's nowhere to hide,

but with dreams like mine,

why would I?
