Nothing is Clear

Eternally misunderstood and shunned by my peers,
Flying through a sky of lies and swimming through an ocean of tears,
Has made it clear that the only thing that I fear,
Is that uncertain figure who looks back at me from the other side of the mirror,
And nothing is clear; cuz its like one side of me is sinister and the other side is sincere,
One part wants to be a stereotypical negro and the other wants a career,
One wants to be filthy rich and the other just wants his loved ones to be near,
And when these two sides collide,
And my humility goes head to head with my pride,
I turn my back on myself for this socially constructed disguise...
