My Horse (Trochaic trimeter)

Location

The thunder of her hooves,
The way her ears listen,
Or how her eyes glisten.
The shifting of her back.
What she has is something,
That other horses lack.
No crazy name like Zing,
Or extravagant mark,
In fact, she is quite dark.
She's got nothing snazzy...
But to me she's jazzy.
She's the one and only,
Who won't leave me lonely.
The name would be Baby,
And yes she's a lady!
