My Dream Job

I don't know what my dream job is,

but whatever I do, I want to make a difference.

I don't care about earning dollars and cents

which I can use to buy a car or a house with a nice, big fence.

I care about making a positive impact on the people I meet,

by doing whatever I can to make them happy.

I don't know what my dream job is,

but whatever I do, I want to do what I love.

I don't want to be pushed around and shoved

to do things that I don't enjoy.

I want to do something that I would be proud of.

I don't know what my dream job is,

but whatever I do, I want to be happy.

I don't want my job to be a burden to me,

trapping me, never letting me free

to do what I want.

I want to wake up early in the morning or have trouble falling asleep at night, eager to go to "work".

I don't know what my dream job is,

but whatever I do, I will find it.

I will not stop searching until I make a difference doing what I love, doing what makes me happy.

I will know I've found it when my dream becomes reality.
