A Modern Hamlet

To be or not to be

That is the question

To live in pain and misery

Or in cowardice abandon

All goodness and virtue,

All righteousness holy

For the vain hope untrue

That death will relieve truly

However that which I desire to gain

Shall not ever be acheived

By silencing my own pain

On a dreadfully fatefeul eve

So my cross I shall bear

But my life I shall hate

For I know not what''s there

Beyond death's gate.
