a modern fairytale

Fairytales are fake.

we met online

Royal balls are for royals.

we struggled with the distance

Princesses get some jets.

we married in a gym

Brides get giant dresses.

grandma paid the venue

The King has nightly feasts.

we had no money/food

Royalty stays the same mansion.

we moved back in with my parents

Life goes on in castles.

we were still really broke

love isn't a fairytale.

This poem is about:

I'm blowing away with this dust.

I feel like I must.

It's not the same as before us.

You made me rust.

The tug of air fills my hopes.

I never learnt your ropes.

You're untraveled land,

And I'm just scattered sand.

RachelMae

I can hear you.

Breathing.

Mumbling.

Thinking.

Stay a while love.

I want you louder.

I can feel you.

Breathing.

Mumbling.

Thinking.

Stay a while love.

I need you forever.

RachelMae

I feel my heart

For the

first time

Since the part.

Do you

fell mine?

I can't sleep.

It's a

constant battle

Between nightmares

And dreams

of you.

I couldn't live

without you.

And here I am

without you,

Dying constantly.

RachelMae

I woke up crying again last night.

I can't do this another time.

You make it hard for me to breathe.

You make me just want to break free.

I don't care anymore.

I just lie here on the floor.

You can't see me like this.

You think I'm possessed.

You've never been so cold.

I've never been so cold.

Frozen.

Dead.
