mirrors

Location

what if there were no mirrors

and she didn't turn on the television

mesmerized by fluttering fake eyelashes

and airbrushed cheekbones on cloud nine

she wouldn't touch her reflection

in the mirrior, fingertips over the cracks

dreaming that she could be just ten pounds skinnier

and what if he would kiss her and say

i love the way you make me smile

instead of smile and say

i love the way you shake that

it's impossible to despise a reflection

it does not exist in the first place

This is really bautiful, and inspirational. It has so much idea lying behind it, such a bold strong idea about society and the way its going. Nice work:)
