Haven't you heard 

Of The Midnight bird

That flew far away

It happend just today

 

He flew through the trees

And looked at the bees

Above all the rest

The midnight bird is the best

 

Haven't you heard 

Of the midnight bird

He swooped with mighty power

And landed onthe Eiffel Tower

 

After that bird ate a rat

That got chased off by a cat

It tasted real sour

And that's when he lost all power

 

Haven't you heard

Of the midnight bird 

He choked on a rat and went to hide

That is when poor midnight bird died
