Merely smoking

Here I stare into Twilight
When the clock nearly nits midnight
The trees sway to breeze
As crickets say their peace

Here I stand merely smoking
Recently received the token
Of forgotten ambers lost
To remembered winter frost

The dead grass grows
Over green pastor Rose
Where smells of peddled doves
Flew over friends of yore

Here I stand merely smoking
Then I take another toking
With faded memory
Of times that were so temporary...

This ones for me
Some words to keep
In the deep lost woods
When emotions are set free

Quest for time lost in frosted chambers
A cold fool could come to senses among
The menses of lost babies in the pool of hade's...

Death comes to us all
But here I'll stand
Merely smoking
