The Majestic Beast

The Majestic Beast

Majestic beast standing tall,

Protruding his power to control all,

Assuring his dominance through pride and roars,

Unaware those below want to demise and score,

Majestic beast so arrogant and oblivious,

“We’re going to kill him! We’ll stop his hymes!”

Surrounding his cave in the night,

“Be quick you heathens, don’t give him a fright!”

His young love awakened, without moving her beast,

“Who are you? You must go before on us he feasts!”

“Apologies my dear, never you worry,

Just let us stop his terrorist reigne,

Before he brings our home to shame!”

“If you must, I’ll have to scream,

You see he’s my hunter’s dream,

Years of suffering by his side,

Have primed me for the pride

To watch him collapse,

To bash his kneecaps,

To see him crumble,

And finally learn to be humble.”

“Leave unlawful subjects,

And soon I’ll resurrect our once proud kingdom,”

While they awaited for the new queen,

She crept beside her ancient teen,

Without one word,

Pausing for a moment but quickly deferred,

Then silently slit his gullet,

No longer would anyone be his puppet.
