A seed fell as my little one was born
And as she grew a flower grew the same
They blossomed but they also kept a thorn
So that no one could their beauty defame
Until a frost did settle o’re the land
Taking the light out of my little flowr.
She to her part, gave every effort, and
It hurt me so to see the pain in her
But soon enough the sun o’recame the frost
Color returned to my little flowrs face
I was ov’rjoyed that she had not been lost
But had returned to me in all her grace
I know one day the frost will reign supreme
And my little flowr shall not return to me
