Last days for Dad,
I wasn't really glad,
So naive and harsh,
Mom told me, "I'm done."
"As we change, we're going to have fun."
I sat in the car with relief and despair,
I was a little enlightened that Dad's out of my hair,
Went to the library to find my sister,
As we get books higher than a twister,
Had to put some books on my card,
Since my sister's card was barred,
But, still,
My dad, leaving so soon,
Next Tuesday- a hundred moons,
Last Days for Dad,
Last Days for Dad,
Too bad,
But not so bad.
