The Lake

Hidden deep in the forest, there lays a lake.

A place to forget sorrow, get rid of an ache.

Its exact location shall remain unknown

There is only one, no other, no clone.

In this place you shall learn utter peace,

All negative feelings shall cease.

There is no noise, only quiet.

No hateful people getting ready to riot.

Thoughts are carried throughout the breeze,

Time stops and seems to freeze.

It is no man’s land, free for all,

You will stand after you crawl.
