Jack

Jack was a boy without an ounce of rest

Who could run from east to west

He would have fun and play

‘til the end of the day

With abundant stamina he was blessed

The next day he wanted some more

Got some shoes, ran out the door

Played ball in the park

Didn’t come home ‘til dark

And jumped on his bed ‘til four

The next day he hit the track

Ran laps ‘til his toes were black

Had so much fun

To the fall of the sun

Oh, how fit was Jack
