I Miss You

I miss you

I feel your thick hair between my fingers

I feel your hands on my face

I feel your lips on mine

I miss you

I see your mysterious brown eyes looking back at me

I see your affection for the little things

I see your smile in the darkness

I miss you

I hear your music loud through your headphones

I hear your breathes against my cheek

I hear your whispers in my ear

I miss you

I smell your expensive cologne that you always wear

I smell saw dust from the wood you cut

I smell your berry gum you chew

I miss you

I taste the chocolate chip cookies you made me

I taste the chap-stick you used for your lips

I taste the saltiness of your skin

I miss you

I can’t feel you

I can’t see you

I can’t hear you

I can’t smell you

I can’t taste you

And so,

I miss you
