Humans are beautiful
We survive, but we thrive.
We're so successful, we don't have to hide!

The beasts we hide from?
We hide from ourselves..

How silly are we? How silly is that?
The one we have to fear
Is right under our hat.

He's knocking on your door, wiping his feet on your mat
He plays with your dog, he pets your cat.

Would you let him inside
If you knew him a rat?

No you wouldn't,
You wouldn't IN FACT.
Because what good does a rat
Do a dog and a cat?

Shall we fight over him? Shall we soil our hands?
Over the dirty source of nourishment
That brings disease to our lands?

What nourishment is that?
How silly are we?
To assume something is good
Because it belongs
To the enemy.

The cat would eat the dog.
It's true.
He would if he could.
But you know,
just because you can;
Doesn't mean that you should.
