Gone

Fictional truths disrespecting my roots,

Missionless proof, impersonated sleuth,

Bent back tooth that depicted my youth,

Zeus predicted a truce when dad tied his Timbaland boots.

But there wasn't.

My thought process was interrupted.

Mama Zeus knew this couldn't be her husband,

And Nemo would rather trade places with his cousin.

Blind to the conflict, which later inflicted my mind.

I didn't cry about it until I was 5'5".

Climax occurred with hurtful words,

I knew this isn't what I deserved.

I was young and didn't what was going on,

So I just decided to go along.

Her feelings were there but now they're lost,

Now the thought of a complete family is gone.
