A Few Questions for an Omnipotent Diety

What do you look like? Do you wear white
That never browns or yellows and
Beads, beads like Mardi Gras that fall down your height
Like a waterfall into sandaled-sand
Are you a man? I do not see how you could be.
Women make life and are terrible the way you are.
Like thunder. Do you speak English or like a Ruskie?
I hope you speak Irish because it is guttural, wrong and beautiful like a heart.
Or do you sign? Do your hands make feelings in the air
Better than sound? Do you wish you could
Drop the world off your shoulders and let
All our souls fall into the fire and despair?
I hope not, but I don’t know if I would
Blame you, if you did happen to forget.
