Eww.

Wed, 01/28/2015 - 10:18 -- MLE

I shuffle and I slosh my way through

The thick goo that has entrapped my legs

Each step a new challenge

That I must pursue

The murky water does not

Let me see what is caught

Between the rocks in the depths below

So much work for a simple thought

But I fight for it, that’s what I do best

Putting my perseverance to the test

Because I will only rest once

I’ve cleaned up this mess

Of opaque ideas and memories.
