Diversity

Location

Look out your window right now, what do you see?

Only one type of tree reaching high?

Only one shape of cloud in the sky?

Only one flower blooming bright?

Only one kite reaching new height?

But where is the fun in such a bland world?

Outside my window is a multitude of things

Flowering trees and pines,

Some stretching high others not much taller than myself.

Stratus and Cumulus clouds float by

Shapes, colors and sizes different as the obstruct the sun.

My grandmothers flower garden,

Filled with purple and orange, a pink rose bush against the fence.

Kites at the park soaring in the blue sky,

Some in geometric shapes, another a dragon and eagle, and still yet a pig flies.

My world is full of differences,

All only adding to the beauty of the individual,

And coinciding to make a splendid whole.
