Crystal Hounds

Location

I couldn't step upon the shattered glass.

And confront the whispered sorrows.

My feet to fleet.

Ran until the morrow.

The crystal hounds gave chase.

And followed me to yesterday.

To drag me back in winded haste.

To Face the hollows of decay.

Strung along on leaded leash.

I waited for the crows to feast.

I walked along the domestic lane.

As all clouds gathered in rain.

I knew the news.

And said the bitter dews.

And finally touched the weeping shoulders.

And everyone's heartfelt reality grew colder.

I couldn't face the players loss.

And create a life that lingers.

So I sank down in despair.

And let the crystals hounds land upon my fingers.
