Choices

Luke 5:11  And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.

Follow

Through thick and thin I follow you … even into destruction.

That does not seem right at all … just a mental abduction?

“Well”, I mean, if I agree … but still filled with doubt?

Is there really room enough … for me to just walk out?

I will trust you to lead the way … but at every corner

Will you debate in arguments … the direction to warn us?

Will you take the path of ease … that goes in a direction?

Away from where I need to be … that city called “reflection”?

Where rule is: “Could have been” … where “if” is the main course.

In the desert called “uncertainty” … and the price a Trojan horse.

Leaning on man I cannot fall … for I’m already on the ground.

Like worms in a pile of slime … blindly digging down.

Concentration camps show very clear that the worst and best are near.

Breathing the same air and stench but the difference is so clear.

Evil on top when the good is down but good searches up.

While evil keeps digging down just to fill its empty cup.

Most are naked, some are dressed but the latter are exposed.

For the nagging of rottenness can’t be hidden by some clothes.

Is that what we do when dressing up hiding what’s inside?

We know that clothes can’t help there to cover wrong from right.

To be dressed in righteousness that will keep you exposed

To the King and His entourage, and the Great Heavenly host.
