Blind

Living a life of being blind

Not fully, but partially in one eye

It happened at an early age

At the age of nine.

Walking around,

Having a positive mind

Is an uphill battle,

A mountain to climb.

Taking a step forward

After being set back,

Is harder then thought

When confidence is what I lack.

When you get hit, blind-sided

Go on with your life,

like it has already been decided

I will continue to strive and try

Even when vision doesn't comply

Living a life of being blind

Will not prevent me from being alive
