Alone but Surrounded

Location

Alone but surrounded
Lightly she stands with a heavy concentration
Her eyes fixed at nothing in the distance
The rippling water dances at her feet
Tender sand grains envelop her toes
Swallowing her deeper and deeper
Lost in the sand
Lost in her mind
Sunrays beat down on her porcelain skin
Portraying a sickly figure and dazed stance
Grasping attention from everyone
But seeing no one
Alone but surrounded
