All I Need

By: Stephen Heine

If I was a poor marooned soul,

Stranded on an island away from man.

Because without music I have no goal,

And I'd wish for a shorter Lifespan.

Music isn't just through the speakers you seek,

'cause when music's created in natural tune.

It's the rain, the waves, and the winds that shriek,

The birds, mammals, and plants who croon.

Yes to be truly apart from the world that is ours,

One must be daft of the sounds and the noise.

They must be rid of all rhythmic Powers,

And Disregard all musical Joys.
