The darkness is taking over my thoughts,
I try to escape, but I can't.
I'm drowning in a pool of my own madness.
I can't seem to keep my head above water.
No matter how hard I swim,
I don’t understand why you can’t see
Sometimes I need to do things for me
Not for you or for your family
Just me me me me!
It’s not selfish to work on myself
I have to admit, that sometimes I need some help
