They say that
You cannot count
All the stars;
But as I stand outside
My apartment
I can use
Only one finger
For each star in the sky.
And I cry because
I am lost.
A thing to change is such a task
So bring a range to pulp the mass
Of things so twisted and bent to shape,
That Candyland may seem so straight.
